๐ฑ Wander Kittens Mini Decks Update ๐ฑ

Thank you so much for your patience with this update. I have been working away behind the scenes on my Wander Kittens 2 Mini Deck Set. As you may already know, I decided to completely reimagine and rewrite the messages on the backs of these cards. While the art and the keywords are the same as the full size Witch Cats and Spirit Cats Decks, for the Wander Kittens I am crystallizing each cardโs message into a succinct poetic incantation which can be read aloud or silently to create a palpable internal shift. Written in first person, they feel like powerful affirmations. I am also writing a prompt for journaling and reflection on every card encouraging a deeper, more personal interaction with the meanings. I am envisioning these mini decks to be very interactive and easy to integrate into your daily life. They are small and light enough to carry in your bag to work, to the park, on a hike, or on a vacation. You could quickly and even discretely draw a card at any moment and read the concise incantation to infuse the moment with magic and presence. You could also use these cards as part of spell work or ritual, reciting the incantation that connects with your desired outcome or the energy you would like to infuse into your working. You could also choose or synchronistically draw a card that embodies a shift you would like to see in your world and then read the message each day as a power affirmation and embodiment practice. The prompts will lend themselves perfectly to self-inquiry and journalling. With these new features the Wander Kittens decks will be able to stand on their own or serve as wonderful companions to the full-size decks. Considering my intention for these decks, I am not simply shortening the messages. I am rewriting them. You might think these more concise message would be quicker to write but I am finding they need lots of loving revisions and careful honing to strike the precise feeling and energy I hope for them to invoke. As a result, I am taking my time with the writing process and need space between revision rounds so that I can hear each poetic incantation with fresh ears and feel how it lands in my body without being influenced by what I was feeling and imagining when I first wrote them. I considered launching the Wander Kittens this Spring as I do have a first draft of the manuscript complete but I decided that Autumn would give this project the breathing space it needs to truly flourish. So mark your calendars! Wander Kittens will launch in September 2024. Most likely, I will be using Kickstarter to launch Wander Kittens but that might change. Wander Kittens Collection Furthermore, I am excited to share that I have finished the product development for the collection of coordinating deck pouches, mini moon card stands, an altar cloth and zipper pouch to accompany the Wander Kittens Decks to create a perfect travel set. First, I created the Dream Cat velvet pouches to hold one or both Wander Kittens decks. This makes the deck very lightweight and easy to carry in your bag. They could also hold a standard size tarot deck. Here's a sneak peek. I also made the Dream Journey Altar Cloth which evokes a magical adventure in both the inner realm and out in the world. It is smaller than my other altar clothes which makes it ideal for creating small altars on the go or doing a reading with the mini Wander Kitten cards. Last, I created this cute little moon stand that perfectly fits the Wander Kittens cards. All these items coordinate with my Vision Cats Zipper Pouch. This durable, protective, water-resistant pouch can store your Wander Kittens Decks tucked in your velvet Dream Cat Pouch, your Dream Journey Altar Cloth, ritual tools, notebooks, pens, art supplies, crystals, and more to bring your magical practice with you wherever you go. You can also use the Vision Cat pouch and stand it up as a central art piece for your travel altar. Here you can see how I used both the altar cloth and the Vision Cat Pouch to create a windowsill altar in the hotel I was staying at on my last vacation. โKatya Rudneva, who makes all the pendulums, ritual bells and wall hangings in my shop, is currently designing a mini pendulum and bell to be a part of the travel set as well. I am so excited to see the prototypes which are almost complete. I will share them with you as soon as I can. For now, I will leave you with a message from the Witch Kittens Deck: "INNER FIRE: I am a brave creature, burning away all mind tethers, invoking a wildfire of creativity. I walk into the flames, incandescent with my vision, and forge gifts for us all. โ What does my inner fire need to burn right and strong?" And maybe one more message, for all of us who may have been feeling a little weighed down by struggles and need a reset: "A NEW BEGINNING: The dawn washes away my old hurts and disappointments with a sweet salve of morning dew. No longer bound by what came before, I turn my face to the warmth of the rising sun. An unwritten day glistens before me. โ How can I give myself the gift of a fresh start? "
